On Saturday a friend of mine and I walked through a really great part of my hometown called Ehrenfeld. There is a lot of great street art around which i mostly photographed with my diana.
My outfit wasn´t really fitting the weather. The vintage-cardigan sucked up the rain that suddenly came from the sky....
While waiting for the rain to stop we stood in a doorway and saw this wonderfully ironic picture. The bars name is "Dry Peter"
Its also one of the most multicultural parts of the town, with a lot of stores selling international food. We found a really interessting store for russian food and had to check it out. The packing of the sweets were so cute that we had to buy some of them. Now the light is gone but i´ll take some pictures when the sun rises again.

oh so floral
To enjoy the wonderful warm sandals-weather i headed to the botanical garden of my hometown. In my early childhood we had been there quite often but now i hadn´t been there for ages. The park is really beautiful and spending a day there is like a little holiday. I could play around with the new fish-eye lense and hope that these pictures will be developed soon.
Late that day a great friend and i went to the rails for some walk. Sadly it started to rain soon...

coming home and getting fisheyes
We arrived back home on frieday night and there was waiting a really late birthdaypresent. A fish-eye lense was very high on my wishlist, so i was really amazed when it finally made its way to us.
The special viewfinder will be fixed on the top of the camera so you can better imagine how the picture will come out
